Caregivers Needed (Male & Female) PRN / On-Call (Paid After Shift)

Job Overview We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers of all genders to join our team on a PRN / On-Call basis, with pay provided after each shift. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, personalized care to individuals across various settings, including assisted living facilities and home care environments. This role offers flexible scheduling options to accommodate your availability while making a meaningful difference in the lives of those you serve. Your responsibilities will include assisting with daily activities, ensuring safety, and promoting independence for residents and clients. Duties Support residents and clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility assistance Monitor patient health by checking vital signs and observing for any changes in condition Assist with medication administration following care plans and HIPAA regulations to ensure privacy and safety Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning, sanitation, and organization of living spaces Use specialized equipment like Hoyer lifts or resident lifts to safely transfer individuals with mobility challenges Document care activities accurately in compliance with healthcare standards and facility policies Provide emotional support and companionship to promote mental well-being Support patients during medical appointments or outings within the community Follow established protocols for emergency situations, including CPR and first aid procedures Experience Prior experience working in assisted living, nursing homes, or home health care is highly preferred Experience caring for individuals with developmental disabilities, Alzheimer's disease, dementia, or memory care needs is advantageous Knowledge of patient observation techniques and monitoring vital signs is essential Familiarity with care plans, medication administration, and HIPAA compliance is required Previous work involving social work or supporting individuals with autism or disabilities is beneficial Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when required for resident transfers or mobility assistance Certification in CPR and first aid is strongly recommended or required depending on state regulations Experience working in hospice care or providing end-of-life support is a plus Join us to make a positive impact through compassionate caregiving!
