Duties Observe and monitor pediatric patients' health status, including vital signs and behavioral cues, ensuring safety at all times Assist children with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts when necessary Support children with developmental disabilities Assist with catheter care, wound care, and hospice-related tasks as required by healthcare plans Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary restrictions and assist with feeding when needed, ensuring proper nutrition for growing children Perform light housekeeping duties including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe environment to promote overall well-being and comfort Requirements Proven experience in pediatric or senior home care, assisted living, nursing homes, or long-term care environments Knowledge of medical terminology, medication administration, vital signs monitoring, and medical documentation procedures Certifications such as CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), first aid, and any state-specific caregiving licenses preferred Experience working with individuals with disabilities or developmental challenges is highly valued Ability to operate documentation system efficiently for documentation purposes Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with families and healthcare teams Compassionate attitude combined with the energy to engage actively with children requiring specialized care Must be able to work in a home where they smoke Home has animals Join us in creating a nurturing environment where children feel safe, supported, and empowered.
