Private Caregiver

Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Private Caregiver to provide personalized, high-quality care to individuals in their homes or community settings. Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patients' health by checking vital signs and observing for any changes in condition Administer medications following care plans and HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) regulations to ensure privacy and safety Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary Support clients with memory care needs such as Alzheimer's or dementia by implementing specialized techniques and maintaining a safe environment Use equipment like Hoyer lifts or resident lifts to safely transfer individuals with mobility challenges Maintain detailed documentation of patient care, progress notes, and incident reports in compliance with healthcare standards Qualifications Proven experience in home health, assisted living, nursing home settings, or group homes working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism Knowledge of patient observation, medication administration, and vital signs monitoring Certifications such as CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), First Aid, and HIPAA compliance are highly preferred Experience with dementia or Alzheimer's care, hospice care, or memory care is advantageous Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and use assistive devices like Hoyer lifts effectively Strong communication skills for working collaboratively with families, healthcare professionals, and social workers Demonstrated compassion, patience, and dedication to providing exceptional patient-centered care Join us in delivering compassionate support that empowers individuals to live healthier, happier lives.
