Job Description

Home Instead is looking for caring and compassionate Med Techs, Med Assistants and EMTs to become caregivers and become a part of our team, joining our mission of enhancing the lives of aging adults throughout our community. Home Instead provides a variety of non-medical services that allow seniors to remain in their home and meet the challenges of aging with dignity, care and compassion.
Caregiver benefits include:

Pay:
$12.00 per hour subject to successful completion of our caregiver training program Caregiver duties include, but are not limited to: Companionship and conversation Stabilization and assistance with walking Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation Medication and appointment reminders Running errands and providing transportation Accompanying clients to appointments Assistance with grooming and bathing Assistance with toileting and incontinence issues Alzheimer's Care Caregiver requirements: MUST have a minimum of 6-months as a Med Tech, Med Assistant or
EMT MUST
be willing to be trained in hands on caregiving and bedbound skills including the following: repositioning the client, doing skin checks, changing the client, changing sheets with the client in bed, giving bed baths and using DME equipment such as Hoyer lifts and gait belts Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner Complete a criminal background check, DMV check and drug screen Possess a valid driver's license and valid auto insurance Home Instead provides a variety of non-medical services that allow seniors to remain in their home and meet the challenges of aging with dignity, care, and compassion.
