This role is vital in enhancing the quality of life for residents by offering personalized assistance, ensuring safety, and fostering a warm, respectful environment. Responsibilities Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patient health by checking vital signs and observing for any changes in condition Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal consumption when necessary Support residents with medication administration following care plans and HIPAA regulations to ensure privacy and safety Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning duties and proper infection control practices Use specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts and resident's to ensure safe transfers and mobility assistance Document care activities accurately, including patient observations, progress notes, and incident reports Skills Proven experience in home health, assisted living, nursing homes, or group homes with a focus on senior care or individuals with disabilities Knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care, hospice care, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism Certified in CPR and First Aid; trained in medication administration and patient monitoring techniques Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate mobility aids like Hoyer lifts effectively Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality

From $15.00 per hour
