Job Description:
BBSI is hiring on behalf of a client seeking compassionate and dependable individuals for a Housemother role. This position offers the opportunity to support young mothers and their children in a safe, structured, and supportive residential environment. Housemothers interact positively with residents and their children, helping to maintain a stable and encouraging atmosphere. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy mentoring and supporting others. Overnight availability is required.
Qualifications:
Experience supervising or caring for teens, toddlers, and infants General homemaking skills, including cooking and housekeeping Ability to remain calm and respond effectively in emergency situations Reliable and dependable Willingness to complete a criminal background check High school diploma or GED Ability to support and respect the mission and values of the home
General Responsibilities:
Model positive behavior and provide guidance to residents Support and mentor young mothers in daily routines and responsibilities Maintain a structured and respectful home environment Complete household duties during assigned shifts Handle challenging situations with professionalism, fairness, and respect
