  • Job Summary:
  • We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team on the 2 PM to 10 PM shift. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional care and support to our clients, ensuring their well-being, comfort, and dignity. This role is critical in enhancing the quality of life for individuals in need of assistance due to age, illness, or disability.
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, keeping them engaged and socially active.
  • Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring client safety and comfort.
  • Monitor and document clients' health status, including vital signs, and report any changes to the supervisor.
  • Administer medications as instructed and assist clients in following their care plans.
  • Maintain a clean and safe living environment by performing light housekeeping duties.
  • Support clients with transportation to appointments or social activities as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
  • Uphold the dignity and respect of each client, adhering to ethical and legal standards in all interactions.
  • Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous experience as a caregiver or in a related field is a plus.
  • CPR and First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Compassionate nature and a genuine desire to help others.
  • Must be able to pass background checks and drug screening.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
  • Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift and transfer clients (up to [insert weight limit, e.g., 50 pounds]).
  • Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
  • Regularly required to engage in physical activity associated with providing care.
