Full Job Description Description:
Amada Senior Care Davenport IA is continuing to grow throughout the Iowa Quad Cities area and is looking for compassionate individuals interested in helping seniors safely remain in their homes.
Position Type:
Part-Time PRN/Flexible Scheduling Opportunity to
Build Into Full-Time Hours Compensation:
Starting around $17.00/hour
Current Coverage Needs:
Day shifts Evening shifts Overnight availability Weekend availability
Position Summary:
Our caregivers provide non-medical in-home support and companionship services while promoting client independence, dignity, and safety within the home environment.
Responsibilities May Include:
Assisting with personal care and activities of daily living Companionship and emotional reassurance Meal preparation and light housekeeping Laundry assistance and maintaining home safety Transportation to appointments, errands, and outings Medication reminders Observing/reporting changes in condition or environment Completing care documentation and daily notes Following individualized care plans and supervisor direction
Requirements:
Preferred but not required: 2 years of caregiving or related experience Reliable vehicle, valid driver's license, and current auto insurance Strong communication and professionalism Ability to document care information clearly Willingness to complete orientation and annual training
