Position Summary We are seeking compassionate, reliable caregivers to join our team in the Iowa City area. As a caregiver, you will provide non-medical support and companionship to seniors, assisting them with daily living activities while promoting dignity, respect, and independence. Key Responsibilities Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting Provide mobility assistance and safe transfers Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed Perform light housekeeping (laundry, dishes, tidying living spaces) Provide medication reminders (no administration) Offer companionship and emotional support Assist with errands, grocery shopping, and transportation to appointments Monitor and report changes in client condition or behavior to the care team Follow individualized care plans and company policies Qualifications Previous caregiving experience preferred (professional or personal) CNA certification is a plus, but not required Compassionate, patient, and dependable Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to pass background check and drug screening Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance Ability to lift, move, or assist clients as needed What We Offer Competitive pay Flexible scheduling (full-time, part-time, and PRN shifts available) Supportive team environment Ongoing training and development opportunities 401(k) retirement plan with company match up to 3% Opportunity to make a meaningful impact in your community Why Join Amada Senior Care?
