Direct Care Staff Nights

```Duties```

• Do nightly checks on residents every 30 minutes Shift is 4 ten hour shifts from 10pm to 8am.
• Provide direct care and support to individuals with disabilities or special needs
• Assist individuals with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication administration
• Implement individualized care plans and ensure the safety and well-being of the individuals
• Foster a supportive and inclusive environment for individuals to promote their independence and socialization
• Assist with transportation to appointments, community outings, and recreational activities
• Document individual progress and any incidents or changes in behavior ```Requirements```
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with individuals, their families, and other staff members
• Ability to handle conflict management situations calmly and professionally
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (if required for transportation duties)
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks as needed
• Knowledge of first aid procedures and ability to respond in emergency situations
• Familiarity with dementia care techniques (if applicable)
• Understanding of resident rights and commitment to upholding them
