As a Residential Support Staff member, you'll support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their homes and communities, helping them build independence, confidence, and fulfilling lives. What You'll Do Support residents with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and medication assistance Provide encouragement, companionship, and emotional support Assist with community outings, recreational activities, and social engagement Help individuals develop life skills such as communication, self-care, and social interaction Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming home environment Complete documentation and communicate effectively with team members Work alongside families and providers to follow individualized support plans What You'll Bring High school diploma or GED Caregiving or direct support experience is a plus, but we are happy to train the right person Strong communication and interpersonal skills A compassionate, patient, and reliable attitude Ability to pass a background check Valid driver's license and reliable, insured transportation CPR/First Aid and Medication Certification (training provided)
