Whether assisting seniors, individuals with disabilities, or those recovering from illness, you'll be a trusted partner in their daily routines and health management. Responsibilities & skills Provide companionship and emotional support through conversation and engaging activities. Prepare and serve nutritious meals according to clients' dietary needs and preferences. Perform light housekeeping duties, including laundry, vacuuming, dusting, washing dishes, and maintaining a clean-living environment. Assist with medication reminders (no medication administration unless permitted by state regulations and company policy). Escort or transport clients to medical appointments, grocery shopping, errands, and social activities. Assist with mobility, transfers, walking, and fall prevention using proper safety techniques. Observe and report changes in clients' physical, emotional, or mental condition to the care coordinator or supervisor. Maintain accurate daily care notes and documentation. Follow each client's individualized care plan while respecting privacy, dignity, and confidentiality. Adhere to all company policies, safety procedures, and applicable state regulations. Compassionate communication skills for working effectively with clients and their families while demonstrating patience and empathy.
