Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate Home Services Worker to support our clients needing help in their daily lives. In this role, you will make a meaningful difference every day, helping our clients maintain their independence and dignity. If you have excellent communication skills and you are a positive, reliable, polite, empathetic and self-motivated professional who thrives in an independent work environment, we want to hear from you! Responsibilities Observe client function and report changes to agency supervisor and to person designated by the agency. Assistance with household chores, which may include but not limited to: Cooking, cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, etc. Assistance in activities outside of the home, which may include but not limited to: Shopping, errands, attending appointments via transportation, etc. Companionship Completing appropriate records and documenting service provisions. Assisting with home services tasks such as: Activities of daily living (ADLs), personal care, etc. Skills Required Proven experience in home & community care, assisted living, nursing home settings, or group homes is highly valued Knowledge of dementia, Alzheimer's, memory care, hospice, and autism-specific caregiving techniques is highly valued Strong patient observation skills with the ability to recognize changes in condition or behavior Ability to safely operate assistive devices like Hoyer lifts or resident lifts is highly valued Excellent communication skills for working effectively with clients, families, and agency team Certifications such as CPR, First Aid, etc preferred but not required Compassionate attitude with a commitment to providing respectful, person-centered care Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds Join us to be part of a dedicated team committed to enriching lives through compassionate caregiving. Pay:
$17.00 - $20.00 per hour
