Role Overview:
As a Caregiver at Assisting Hands Chicago North, you will be responsible for providing compassionate care and support to clients in their homes. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with the care team to ensure that each client receives tailored assistance based on their individual needs. Whether you work on-site in Chicago, you'll have the flexibility to contribute positively to the lives of our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and safety. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering trust and a caring relationship. Administer medications and assist with basic health monitoring as required. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, adhering to hygiene standards. Collaborate with family members and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care plans are implemented.
Qualifications:
You're a great fit if you have the following skills. Compassionate and reliable character with a genuine desire to help others. Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. Experience in a caregiving or healthcare setting is preferred. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. A current CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.
Bonus If You:
Have experience with elderly or disabled care. Are bilingual and can communicate in other languages alongside English. Possess additional relevant certifications or specialized training.
Employment Type & Availability:
This position is Full-Time, Monday through Friday.
Location:
This position is on-site only in Chicago, Illinois.
