Provide direct support to individuals with developmental disabilities, ensuring their needs are met with dignity and respect. Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote cognitive function and social interaction. Monitor and document client progress and any changes in behavior or health status. Maintain a clean and organized living environment for clients, including light housekeeping tasks. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement personalized care plans. Uphold resident rights by advocating for the needs and preferences of clients. Requirements Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or in memory care settings is preferred. Knowledge of resident rights and the ability to advocate for clients effectively. Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families. Ability to cook nutritious meals that cater to individual dietary needs. Compassionate nature with a commitment to patient care and support. Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team. Prior experience in assisted living or direct support roles is advantageous.
