Role Overview:

As a Lead Caregiver at Assisting Hands Home Care of Elgin, you will be responsible for overseeing the care provided to our clients while ensuring they receive the personalized assistance they need to thrive. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with our support team to enhance the quality of care and maintain a compassionate environment. Whether you work on-site, you'll have the flexibility to define how care is delivered to meet individual client needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct personal care to clients, including assistance with daily living activities and companionship. Assist with meal preparation, medication reminders, and light housekeeping duties. Supervise and mentor other caregivers to ensure high standards of care and support. Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and the broader care team to provide updates and address concerns. Participate in training and development programs to enhance caregiving skills and capabilities.

Qualifications:

You're a great fit if you have the following skills. Valid caregiver certification or equivalent experience in senior care. Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate approach to client care. Ability to handle multiple responsibilities and prioritize client needs effectively. Proficient in English for clear communication with clients and team members. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends as needed.

Bonus If You:

Have experience working with elderly clients or individuals with disabilities. Are familiar with care planning and implementing personalized care programs. Possess additional certifications in fields related to healthcare or caregiving.

Employment Type & Availability:

This is a Full-Time position that may require availability on weekdays and weekends.

This position is on-site only and based in Elgin, Illinois.
