MALE CAREGIVER ONLY

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Male Caregiver to provide exceptional support and care to residents in a long-term care or assisted living environment. This role is vital in enhancing the quality of life for individuals with various needs, including developmental disabilities, dementia, Alzheimer's, and other health conditions. The ideal candidate will be energetic, attentive, and committed to delivering personalized care that promotes independence, safety, and well-being. You will play a key role in assisting residents with daily activities, monitoring health status, and creating a warm, supportive environment. Responsibilities Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support Monitor residents' vital signs and overall health status regularly to ensure safety and well-being Provide companionship and emotional support to residents, fostering a positive and respectful environment Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal service while adhering to dietary restrictions and preferences Maintain cleanliness of resident rooms and common areas through regular cleaning routines MUST know how to use a specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts or resident lifts safely to assist with mobility needs Observe and document changes in residents' condition or behavior for team review and care adjustments Follow all safety protocols, including CPR, First Aid, and infection control procedures Collaborate with healthcare teams to implement individualized care plans tailored to each resident's needs Requirements Prior experience working in assisted living, nursing homes, or group homes is highly preferred Knowledge of patient observation techniques, medication administration, and vital signs monitoring Certification in CPR and First Aid required; additional certifications such as HIPAA compliance are a plus Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, dementia, or Alzheimer's is desirable Ability to perform heavy lifting safely using equipment like Hoyer lifts when necessary Strong communication skills to effectively interact with residents, families, and healthcare professionals Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to improve residents' quality of life Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed Join our team if you're passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of others! Pay:

$18.50 - $19.50 per hour
