Job Description

Overview Job Summary:
Performs clerical/scheduling activities that facilitate Agency operations. These activities include coordination of employee schedules with client wants/needs, processing intake information, and communication with referral sources. Must demonstrate flexibility, including the ability to provide in-home services to clients when homemaker coverage is not available. Responsibilities Maintains schedule for services requested and provided to agency clients. Assures that cases are filled within established time Completes documentation per Agency Provides appropriate notification of schedule to employees, clients, family, case manager, and others as Monitors overtime and mileage records of Responds to emergency calls and arranges schedule Provides directions to direct care employees and communicates with supervisors as needed to assure safe and effective coverage of client Assigns Agency staff to clients. Sends out care plan and follows up on service Assures employees receive complete and accurate directions and information about client needs. Reports any scheduling changes and/or client concerns to Notifies clients of changes and monitors employee performance in areas of dependability, responsiveness, timeliness, and client concerns. Participates in the evaluation and performance review of field staff including discipline and Verifies time records with Follows up with employees on scheduling problems encountered by the on-call Participates in determining hiring Minimizes substitution of employees and maximizes permanent Maintains adequate numbers of available on-call Notifies Supervisor/Human Resource Department of staff Meets with HR and Agency Manager to anticipate needed coverage (new clients' increased needs). Maintains confidentiality in all aspects of the Respects the confidentiality of information in client and employee Shares information in accordance with Agency Protects documents in a manner that prevents unauthorized Performs job in compliance with Agency policies and procedures as well as community and professional Assures compliance with applicable state, federal, CHAP, and Joint Commission Attends meetings and educational programs as Accepts responsibility for personal and professional Participates in the Agency's ongoing quality improvement Responsible for completing all mandatory and regulatory training programs Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications Job Skill Requirements:
Demonstrates strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. Computer literate or willing to be trained on a personal Speaks, reads, writes, and comprehends Demonstrates time management, organizational skills, and ability to function with minimal Comfortable working in an evolving and dynamic environment. Demonstrate ability to work with multiple different client types.
Educational Requirements:
High school graduate; advanced education
Experience:
Current staffing experience, preferably staffing for a temporary Agency or in-home Knowledge of medical terminology or a general medical background
Credential/License Required:
Licensed driver with automobile insured in accordance with state and/or Agency requirement sand in good repair. Good driving
