Job Description

Overview Join our dedicated team as an In Home Caregiver and make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals requiring personalized care and support. This vital role involves providing compassionate, comprehensive assistance to clients in their homes, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. As an In Home Caregiver, you will be a trusted companion and caregiver, helping clients maintain independence and quality of life through attentive care and support. Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility assistance Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and respiration to track health status Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary Administer medications accurately following care plans while adhering to HIPAA regulations for patient confidentiality Support clients with cognitive impairments such as dementia or Alzheimer's disease through specialized memory care techniques Operate medical equipment including Hoyer lifts, wheelchairs, and other assistive devices safely and effectively Perform light housekeeping tasks like cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe environment to promote overall well-being Observe and report any changes in the client's condition or behavior to healthcare professionals promptly Qualifications Prior experience in home health, assisted living, nursing homes, or group homes is highly preferred Knowledge of patient observation, medication administration, and vital signs monitoring required Certification in CPR and First Aid is essential; additional certifications such as HIPAA training are a plus Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, dementia, or memory care needs is advantageous Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physically demanding tasks as needed for patient support Strong communication skills with a compassionate approach to caregiving and social work principles Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred for client visits Join us if you're passionate about providing exceptional home care that empowers individuals to live comfortably and independently!
