Job Description

Overview Join our compassionate team as a Caregiver/Homemaker, where your dedication and empathy will make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals needing support with daily activities and personal care. This rewarding role offers the opportunity to provide essential assistance in home and community settings, ensuring safety, comfort, and dignity for those you serve. Whether working with seniors, individuals with disabilities, or those recovering from illness, your efforts will foster independence and enhance quality of life every day. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patient health by checking vital signs and observing for any changes in condition Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences Administer medications accurately following care plans and HIPAA privacy standards Maintain a clean, safe environment through regular cleaning and organization of living spaces Support residents or clients with specialized care such as Alzheimer's, dementia, or memory care needs Use assistive devices like Hoyer lifts or wheelchairs to ensure safe transfers and mobility support Document care activities meticulously, including patient observations and progress notes Collaborate with healthcare professionals to implement personalized care plans and ensure comprehensive support Provide emotional support and companionship to foster a positive environment Skills Proven experience in home health, assisted living, nursing homes, or group home settings Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to maintain confidentiality and privacy of patient information Certifications such as CPR, First Aid, or hospice care are highly valued Strong ability to monitor vital signs and recognize signs of health deterioration or emergencies Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, or Alzheimer's/dementia care needs Physical ability for heavy lifting and assisting with transfers using equipment like Hoyer lifts Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and families Compassionate attitude combined with patience, attentiveness, and respect for individual dignity This position is a paid opportunity dedicated to enriching lives through dedicated caregiving. $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
