Job Description

Overview We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support to our client at a facility in Mokena
  • Clarendale, client has Dementia and the Ideal caregiver must be experienced with dementia, calm, caring and knows how to redirect client. Schedule
  • Mondays to Sundays 6pm to 6am (12hrs) Responsibilities
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive and engaging environment.
  • Implement and follow individualized care plans tailored to each client's needs.
  • Support clients with mobility assistance.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the client's living space to promote a safe environment.
  • Document night activities and any changes in client condition as per HIPAA regulations.
  • Offer specialized care for individuals with dementia or other cognitive impairments.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients in home health or group home settings.
  • Engage clients in social activities to encourage interaction and mental stimulation. Qualifications
  • Previous experience in senior care, home health, or long-term care settings is preferred.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to maintain client confidentiality is essential.
  • Direct support for individuals with disabilities is a plus.
  • Ability to lift and assist clients safely while adhering to proper lifting techniques.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
  • Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours as needed.
