Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide exceptional support to an individual in Naperville, Aurora, Lisle and neighboring town. This vital role involves assisting clients with daily activities, ensuring their safety, and promoting their overall well-being in a home or community setting. The ideal candidate will bring energy, empathy, and a strong commitment to delivering personalized care that enhances quality of life. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference while working in a supportive and dynamic environment. Weekend availability is mandatory for this position. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor and observe patients' conditions, noting changes in health status and vital signs using medical terminology and documentation standards Support clients with specialized needs such as dementia care, Alzheimer's care Prepare nutritious meals, assist with cooking, laundry, cleaning, and maintaining a safe home environment for clients Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure continuity of patient care and accurate medical records management Provide emotional support and companionship to foster a positive environment for clients Qualifications Prior experience in senior care, home health, assisted living, nursing homes, or long-term care settings is highly preferred Knowledge of medical terminology, vital signs monitoring, medication administration, and patient care procedures Certifications such as CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), first aid, or hospice training are advantageous Experience working with individuals with disabilities or memory-related conditions like dementia or Alzheimer's disease is required Strong communication skills coupled with compassion and patience for working with diverse populations Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are often required for home & community care roles Join us to be part of a team committed to enriching lives through dedicated caregiving.
