Responsibilities Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to ensure health and safety Administer medications accurately following prescribed schedules and protocols Support residents with meal preparation, feeding, and hydration needs in accordance with dietary guidelines Use specialized equipment like Hoyer lifts and EMR (Electronic Medical Record) systems to document care activities efficiently Engage residents through social activities, companionship, and behavioral management techniques to promote mental well-being Maintain a clean and safe environment by assisting with light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning common areas and resident rooms Skills Proven experience in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home & community care environments Knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care, and working with individuals with disabilities or developmental challenges Ability to perform first aid procedures confidently and respond effectively in emergency situations Familiarity with medication administration protocols and vital signs monitoring Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members, residents, families, and healthcare professionals Experience using EMR systems for accurate documentation of care activities Valid driver's license for driving residents when needed or transporting supplies safely Join us in delivering exceptional care that empowers residents to thrive!
