JOB SUMMARY
This position is responsible for providing department-specific clerical quality assurance. Duties include preparing specific computerized reports, daily preparation of paperwork, form completion, data entry, and other quality assurance duties as assigned. Reviews OASIS documentation for areas of concern, and communicates findings with field staff to facilitate necessary corrections. This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of Blessing Hospital. It is expected that the employee demonstrates behavior consistent with the Core Values. The employee shall support Blessing Hospital's strategic plan and the goals and direction of the Performance Improvement/Patient Safety Plan.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Training/Experience:
REQUIRED
OASIS-certified individual, or an individual with experience in Home Care Quality Assurance. Must have one (1) year of home care experience; high school diploma or equivalent
PREFERRED
secretarial school preparation preferred; minimum of two (2) years clerical experience preferred; excellent typing skills; experience with Microsoft Word and other Office projects preferred; excellent written and verbal communication skills; proficiency in operating computer, copier, scanner, and fax; knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid billing, regulations, and forms for Home Health Agency preferred.
