Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in their own residences. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in home and community care, with a genuine desire to improve clients' quality of life through personalized care. As an In Home Caregiver, you will deliver comprehensive support that promotes independence, safety, and well-being, ensuring each client receives respectful and attentive care tailored to their unique needs. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support. Monitor and observe patients' health status, noting any changes in condition or behavior for appropriate action or reporting. Prepare nutritious meals aligned with dietary restrictions and preferences, ensuring proper meal planning and execution. Administer medications accurately following prescribed schedules and maintain detailed documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Utilize specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts or other assistive devices to ensure safe patient transfers and mobility. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment by performing light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning and laundry. Provide emotional support and companionship to foster a positive environment that enhances mental well-being. Follow individualized care plans developed in collaboration with healthcare professionals, incorporating patient-specific goals. Requirements Proven experience in home health care, assisted living, nursing homes, or group home settings. Knowledge of vital signs monitoring, CPR certification, first aid, and dementia or Alzheimer's care techniques. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, or memory impairments. Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physically demanding tasks as needed for patient care. Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality at all times. Excellent communication skills combined with patience, empathy, and cultural sensitivity. Valid certification in CPR and first aid; additional certifications in hospice or long-term care are advantageous. Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings or weekends as required by client needs. Pay:
$18.20 - $18.75 per hour
