DSP (Direct Support Provider)

Midnight until 8 am DSP needed to work in an individually controlled living facility. Individuals living in this facility are independent, living in their own apartment in the facility. Third shift is responsible for minimal light cleaning in the common area. They are expected to be awake and be available for any needs/emergencies that may occur in the overnight hours. This person will also be responsible for entering client data in a computer based system as part of our mental health clinic.

Requirements:

age 21 or older be able to provide proof of a high school diploma or GED have excellent computer skills to document in a computer based system must be listed in the Health Care Worker Registry as a DSP be able to work the midnight to 8 am shift as scheduled (12pm-8am) which may include weekends as well as week days. must be able to read and write proficiently as paper documentation is also necessary It is mandatory that this person is already listed as a DSP on the Illinois Healthcare Worker Registry. This home is open 24/7 365 days per year so there will be a need to work rotating weekends etc. This is a

NO SLEEP

position. Staff is required to be awake at all times.
