Job Summary :
Caregiver for Sidell, IL Tuesday Evenings, Weekends, and as needed Join our dedicated team as an In Home Caregiver, where you will provide compassionate, personalized care to clients in their own homes. This role offers a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals requiring assistance with daily activities, health management, and emotional support. You will work closely with clients to promote independence, safety, and well-being while fostering trusting relationships built on respect and kindness. This position is ideal for motivated caregivers eager to bring comfort and stability to those in need through attentive, professional service. Responsibilities Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Administer medication reminders and monitor health conditions as directed by healthcare providers Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being Perform light housekeeping tasks including laundry, cleaning, and organizing to maintain a safe living environment Observe and report any changes in client health or behavior promptly to family members or healthcare professionals Support clients during outings or appointments, ensuring safety and comfort at all times Requirements Prior experience working in home care or related settings preferred but not required; training provided for motivated candidates Strong understanding of medical-surgical care, geriatrics, and post-acute care practices Experience with Level II trauma centers or hospital medicine is a plus; familiarity with emergency medicine protocols is advantageous Knowledge of PICU (Pediatric Intensive Care Unit), OR (Operating Room), outpatient clinics, and sub-acute care environments is beneficial Excellent communication skills with the ability to build trusting relationships with clients and their families Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently, demonstrating explicit attention to detail and safety procedures Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred for assisting clients with outings or errands Join us in delivering exceptional in-home care that transforms lives! Pay:
$15.50 - $18.00 per hour
