This energetic role involves delivering personalized care, ensuring safety, and promoting independence for clients with diverse needs. As a vital member of our caregiving team, you will help enhance the quality of life for those you serve through attentive, respectful, and proactive care. This position offers flexible hours and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people's lives every day. Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor and observe patients' health status, noting any changes or concerns to ensure prompt response Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary requirements and assist with feeding when necessary Administer medication following prescribed schedules while adhering to HIPAA regulations for patient privacy Support residents with memory care needs such as Alzheimer's or dementia through engaging activities and safety measures Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks like cleaning, laundry, and organizing personal spaces Use assistive devices such as Hoyer lifts or resident's ; to ensure safe transfers and mobility support Requirements Prior experience in home & community care, assisted living, nursing homes, or group homes is highly preferred Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; additional certifications like HIPAA training are a plus Knowledge of patient observation techniques, medication administration, and vital signs monitoring Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, or dementia is advantageous Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physically demanding tasks as needed Strong communication skills with a compassionate approach to caregiving Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are preferred for home visits or community outings Join our team as a Part-time Caregiver and become an essential part of improving lives through dedicated care.
