About Us:

BrightStar Care is a home care company that promotes well-being in the home. We can provide our clients with caregivers, CNAs, LPNs or RNs that provide in-home care, assisting with toileting, light housekeeping, dressing, grooming, companionship, dementia care, safety, and much more. Each client is individually assessed by a Registered Nurse to develop a personalized Plan of Care, which our employees follow to deliver top-notch care. Care needs range from simple companionship care to round-the-clock skilled nursing care and everything in between. BrightStar Care of Tinley Park is owned by husband-and-wife nurses who do the same work that we ask our employees to do.

Role Overview:

As an Elderly Caregiver at BrightStar Care, you will be responsible for providing compassionate and high-quality in-home care to our clients. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with a team of dedicated professionals to ensure each client's specific needs are met, enabling them to live comfortably and safely in their own homes. You'll enjoy a flexible schedule with shifts ranging from two to twelve hours while working on-site in Tinley Park, Illinois.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist clients with daily living activities, including toileting, dressing, and grooming. Provide companionship and emotional support to help clients feel engaged and valued. Light housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and clean living environment. Assist with mobility and transfer of clients as needed. Follow personalized Plans of Care developed by Registered Nurses to ensure quality service delivery.

Qualifications:

You're a great fit if you have the following skills. Experience in elderly care or a related field. Current certification as a CNA or equivalent is preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Empathy and a genuine passion for helping others. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.

Bonus If You:

Have experience with specialized care for clients with dementia or other cognitive impairments. Are bilingual, specifically in languages that may enhance client communication.

Employment Type & Availability:

This position is Full-Time or Part-Time, available Monday through Sunday.

This position is on-site located in Tinley Park, Illinois and the surrounding suburbs.
