Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver who already has an established client base and owns their own caregiving clientele. In this vital role, you will provide personalized, high-quality care to individuals across various settings, including private homes, assisted living facilities, and community environments. Your expertise will help enhance the quality of life for those you serve by offering attentive support, ensuring safety, and promoting independence. This position offers an exciting opportunity for experienced caregivers to make a meaningful difference while leveraging their existing client relationships. Duties Deliver comprehensive personal care services, including assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patients' health status by checking vital signs and observing for any changes in condition or behavior Administer medications and follow prescribed care plans in compliance with HIPAA regulations and healthcare standards Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences, ensuring safety during meal preparation Utilize specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts or resident lifts to safely transfer clients with mobility challenges Maintain detailed documentation of patient care activities, observations, and medication administration in accordance with privacy laws Support patients with dementia or Alzheimer's by implementing memory care strategies and providing compassionate emotional support Skills Proven experience in home health, assisted living, nursing home settings, or long-term care environments Strong knowledge of patient observation techniques and vital signs monitoring Certified in CPR and First Aid to respond effectively during emergencies Familiarity with dementia care, Alzheimer's care, hospice care, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorders Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate assistive devices like Hoyer lifts or resident lifts Excellent communication skills to coordinate with healthcare teams, families, and clients' support networks Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality and privacy of patient information Skilled in meal preparation, medication management, and creating personalized care plans Experience working in group homes or community-based settings is a plus Join us if you're passionate about delivering exceptional caregiving services!
