As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for seniors and those with disabilities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. This position requires a nurturing attitude and the ability to work effectively in various settings, including group homes and private residences. Duties Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, medication reminders, and meal preparation. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment. Maintain accurate records of patient care and communicate effectively with healthcare professionals. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations while handling sensitive information. Assist with mobility and transportation needs, ensuring safe movement within the home or community. Support clients with long-term care needs, including those requiring specialized attention. Skills Experience in group home settings or social work is highly desirable. Knowledge of patient care practices, particularly in senior care environments. Familiarity with first aid procedures and emergency response protocols. Ability to prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary requirements. Understanding of medication administration guidelines and long-term care principles.
