This role involves working closely with clients in various settings, including homes, assisted living facilities, and group homes. Caregivers will be responsible for ensuring the well-being and comfort of clients while promoting their independence and dignity. Sign on BONUS $500.00 Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting Provide personal care and support for individuals with varying needs, including those with developmental disabilities, Alzheimer's, dementia, or autism Monitor and document vital signs and changes in client health status Prepare meals and assist with meal planning to ensure proper nutrition Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping duties Administer medications as prescribed and follow care plans developed by healthcare professionals Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote social interaction and mental stimulation Provide emotional support and companionship to enhance the quality of life for clients Utilize equipment such as Hoyer lifts safely when assisting clients with mobility needs Adhere to HIPAA regulations to maintain client confidentiality Skills First aid and CPR certification preferred Experience in home health care, assisted living, nursing homes, or long-term care settings is highly desirable Strong patient observation skills to recognize changes in health or behavior Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary for client mobility assistance Knowledge of dementia care practices and memory care techniques Experience working with individuals with disabilities or developmental challenges Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare teams Compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life Join our team of dedicated caregivers who make a difference in the lives of those we serve.
