Job Description

Looking for Current Medicaid Waiver Caregivers that's looking to bring their client to an agency that cares about their caregivers and clients. Bring your client to our agency and depending on their weekly hours, you could make $19-$21 per hour with overtime. Looking for candidates that has a client that is a Indiana Medicaid Waiver Recipient with a commitment to providing quality services to seniors and individuals with disabilities. Job Overview We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need. As a Caregiver, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for those you care for, particularly individuals with developmental disabilities. Your responsibilities will include providing personal care, ensuring safety, and promoting independence in a supportive environment. Responsibilities Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Provide medication administration as prescribed and ensure adherence to care plans. Support clients in social activities and community engagement to foster social skills and independence. Maintain a clean and safe living environment by performing light housekeeping tasks. Document patient care activities accurately while adhering to HIPAA regulations. Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals regarding the client's needs and progress. Assist with heavy lifting when necessary to support clients with mobility challenges. Respond promptly to emergencies and provide first aid or CPR when required. Qualifications Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred, especially in a group home setting or working with individuals with developmental disabilities. Knowledge of CPR and First Aid certification is highly desirable. Understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure client confidentiality and privacy. Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and their families. Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed for patient mobility assistance. Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life. Flexibility in scheduling to meet the needs of clients, including availability for various shifts.
