Full-time Job Summarrry:
In Harmony Home Care LLC is seeking a compassionate and dedicated (Personal Care Assistant) to provide essential support to an individual in need of assistance with daily living activities in his home. The ideal candidate will have experience in home care, memory care, nursing home, Hospice, or home health settings and will be committed to enhancing the quality of life for our clients. This role involves working closely with the individual who has had a stroke, and Dementia disease ensuring their comfort and well-being. They will require total care. Duties Assist client with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Provide companionship and emotional support to client, fostering a positive and encouraging environment. Help with mobility and transportation needs, including accompanying client to appointments or social activities. Maintain a clean and safe living environment by performing light housekeeping tasks. Monitor clients' health and report any changes in condition to appropriate healthcare professionals. Support client with memory care strategies and engage them in meaningful activities tailored to his interests. Document care provided and maintain accurate records as required. Skills Experience in home care, memory care, or home health settings is preferred. Strong caregiving skills with a focus on patient care and compassion. Ability to work effectively with individuals who have developmental disabilities. Excellent communication skills to interact positively with clients and their families. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail. A commitment to cleanliness and maintaining a safe environment for clients. Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
