Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patients' health by observing vital signs and reporting any changes to healthcare professionals Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal consumption when necessary Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks including cleaning and laundry Use specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts or resident's to ensure safe transfers and mobility assistance Engage clients through meaningful conversation, recreational activities, and social interaction to promote emotional well-being Requirements Prior experience in home & community care, assisted living, nursing homes, or group home settings is highly preferred Knowledge of patient observation techniques, dementia care (including Alzheimer's and memory care), and working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism Certifications such as CPR, First Aid, and HIPAA compliance are strongly recommended; willingness to obtain these if not already certified Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physical tasks required for patient transfers or mobility support Strong attention to detail for monitoring visual vital signs, and following care plans accurately Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams Valid background check clearance and a compassionate attitude dedicated to providing respectful patient care Embark on a rewarding career where every day offers the chance to positively impact lives through dedicated caregiving.
