Job Description

Job Summary administive We are seeking a compassionate and energetic Po Caregiver LLC to join our dedicated team in providing exceptional support and care to individuals with diverse needs. In this role, you will be instrumental in assisting clients with daily activities, promoting independence, and fostering a positive environment that encourages growth and well-being. Your enthusiasm and commitment will help empower individuals to achieve their personal goals while ensuring their safety and comfort in home and community settings. Responsibilities Provide direct support to individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, and other disabilities, assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive behaviors and support behavioral health needs. Assist with communication using methods such as American Sign Language (ASL) or other effective communication techniques. Support clients in social skills development, community engagement, and recreational activities to enhance their quality of life. Collect data on client progress, behavior patterns, and service outcomes for documentation and reporting purposes. Administer medications following prescribed protocols while maintaining accurate medication records. Drive clients safely to appointments, community outings, or activities, ensuring adherence to all safety regulations. Support families through childcare responsibilities when needed, fostering a nurturing environment that promotes growth and stability. Qualifications Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, or other disabilities in home or community care settings. Knowledge of special education principles and behavioral health practices. Proficiency in communication skills, including the use of American Sign Language preferred. Ability to perform caregiving duties effectively while demonstrating patience and empathy. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; reliable transportation required. Experience in data collection, documentation, and basic social work practices is a plus. Familiarity with medication administration protocols and safety procedures. Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with clients, families, and team members. Join us in making a meaningful difference!
