Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need of long-term care. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality personal care, ensuring the safety and comfort of residents, and promoting their well-being. This role is vital in enhancing the quality of life for those we serve, particularly individuals with memory care needs and those on the autism spectrum. Responsibilities Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Transfer from bed to chair and from chair to bed Light housekeeping Med reminders Run errands Provide companionship and emotional support to residents, fostering a positive environment. Engage residents in social activities and encourage participation in recreational programs. Maintain a clean and safe living environment by following hygiene protocols and safety guidelines. Document care provided and report any concerns or changes in resident condition to appropriate staff. Experience Previous experience in caregiving or long-term care settings is preferred but not required. Knowledge of CPR techniques is a plus. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members.
