Overview Join our compassionate team as an In Home Caregiver, where your dedication and skills will make a meaningful difference in the lives of those you serve. Responsibilities Deliver personalized in-home care tailored to each client's unique needs, including assistance with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental health and reduce feelings of isolation Assist with medication reminders and monitor health status, reporting any changes or concerns to healthcare professionals Support clients with light housekeeping tasks, meal preparation, and transportation to appointments or errands Maintain detailed documentation of care provided, observations, and any incidents in compliance with agency protocols Collaborate with family members and healthcare teams to ensure continuity of care and achieve client-centered goals Follow all safety procedures and infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff Participate in ongoing training sessions to stay current on best practices in home care and specialized needs Qualifications Prior experience providing in-home or community-based care is highly valued; experience working with diverse populations including geriatrics, post-acute care patients, or individuals with chronic conditions is preferred Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusting relationships with clients and their families Ability to follow detailed care plans and adapt to changing needs effectively Excellent communication skills for coordinating with healthcare providers and team members Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are often required for client visits Certification in CPR/First Aid is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to obtain certification upon hire is expected Knowledge of medical-surgical procedures, outpatient clinic protocols, or sub-acute care practices enhances your candidacy Experience working in teaching hospitals or Level I Trauma Centers adds valuable insight into complex care environments Join us as an In Home Caregiver if you're passionate about making a positive impact through dedicated service.
