Role Overview:

As a Caregiver at FirstLight Home Care, you will be responsible for providing compassionate and reliable support to clients in their homes. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with families and our dedicated team to ensure that clients are receiving the personalized care they need. This is an on-site position in Mishawaka, Indiana, offering flexible hours to accommodate your schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, meal preparation, and medication management. Provide companionship and engage in meaningful activities to promote socialization. Monitor and report changes in client's health or behavior to the team and family members. Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients in their homes. Collaborate with nursing staff and other caregivers to ensure individualized care plans are implemented effectively.

Qualifications:

You're a great fit if you have the following skills. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Excellent communication skills and a passion for helping others. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Compassionate nature with a strong commitment to client care. Flexible availability for shifts including weekends and holidays.

Bonus If You:

Have previous caregiving experience. Hold a valid certification in CPR or first aid. Are fluent in additional languages helpful for communication with clients.

Employment Type & Availability:

This position is available as both Part-Time and Full-Time, with flexible hours across the week.

Location:

This position is on-site only in Mishawaka, Indiana.
