We are seeking caregivers who are compassionate, reliable, professional, and committed to making a positive impact. Position Summary The Direct SupportCaregiver provides non-medical support and assistance to clients in home and community-based settings. Caregivers play an important role in supporting clients' physical, emotional, and social well-being while encouraging independence and safety. Responsibilities Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) Provide companionship and emotional support Assist with meal preparation and light housekeeping Support mobility, safety supervision, and community engagement Transport or accompany clients to appointments and activities as needed Observe and report concerns or changes in client condition Maintain accurate documentation and communication Follow individualized service plans and agency policies Treat clients and families with dignity, patience, and respect Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred Previous caregiving, DSP, home care, CNA, or healthcare experience preferred Compassionate, dependable, and professional attitude Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and responsibly Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred Ability to pass background checks and required screenings CPR/First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain What We Offer Flexible scheduling opportunities Supportive team environment Ongoing training and professional development Meaningful work serving the community Opportunities for growth as the agency expands Ideal Candidate We are looking for caregivers who: Value compassion and professionalism Communicate effectively and respectfully Maintain consistent attendance and reliability Are passionate about helping others Can build positive relationships with clients and families
