Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Caregiver who has their own client base to join our dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide personalized, high-quality care to individuals in their homes or community settings. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for those you serve by delivering attentive, respectful, and professional support tailored to each person's unique needs. Your energy, empathy, and expertise will help promote independence and well-being for your clients every day. Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive personal care including assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patient health by observing vital signs, managing medication administration, and reporting changes to healthcare professionals Assist with meal preparation and nutritional needs, ensuring dietary guidelines are followed accurately Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning tasks and proper infection control procedures Support clients with mobility using equipment such as Hoyer lifts or other assistive devices while practicing proper safety protocols Follow individualized care plans meticulously to meet each client's specific health and social needs Document all care activities accurately in compliance with HIPAA regulations and agency standards Qualifications Proven experience in home & community care, assisted living, nursing home environments, or working with individuals with disabilities or developmental disabilities Knowledge of Alzheimer's care, dementia care, memory care, hospice care, and autism support is highly desirable Valid certifications including First Aid and CPR are required; additional certifications such as HIPAA training are preferred Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate patient monitoring equipment effectively Strong observational skills for patient safety and well-being; experience with vital signs measurement is a plus Excellent communication skills to collaborate with healthcare teams and family members Must have reliable transportation to manage your own client schedule effectively Join us if you're passionate about making a meaningful difference in people's lives! Pay:
$18.00 - $21.00 per hour
