Job Description
Job Overview We are faith-based Home Daycare in Lawrence, KS for over 30 years. As Home daycare you're required to work with the kids providing complete in-home care for children of all ages. We are seeking a dedicated Childcare Assistant to join our team full or part-time. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and creating a safe and nurturing environment for them to thrive. Duties Engage children in age-appropriate activities to stimulate and develop their cognitive and social skills Ensure the safety and well-being of all children under your care Maintain a clean and organized childcare environment Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise Implement daily routines and schedules to provide structure for the children Assist children with meals, snacks, and personal hygiene as needed Experience Previous experience in childcare, babysitting, nannying, or related fields is preferred Knowledge of early childhood education principles is a plus Certification in first aid and CPR is desirable If you are a compassionate individual who enjoys working with children and making a positive impact on their lives, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding Childcare Provider position.
