Job Description

ARE YOU THE PERSON PEOPLE COUNT ON?
Are you the person people call when something goes wrong? Are you the person people feel comfortable talking to when they're having a hard day? Are you the person who notices details that others overlook? Are you the person who stays calm when everyone else is stressed? Do you take pride in being dependable and helping people? If you're answering "yes" to those questions, keep reading. Because the families we serve need someone exactly like that. This Is More Than A Job At Adelmo Family Care, we help seniors remain safe, independent, and supported in their own homes. Families come to us during some of the most stressful and emotional seasons of their lives. They may be worried about a parent who is declining. They may be overwhelmed by caregiving responsibilities. They may be trying to balance careers, children, and concern for a loved one all at the same time. Our caregivers step into those situations every day to provide compassionate care, a watchful eye, and a helping hand. This position helps make all of that possible. You will help create stability. You will help support caregivers. You will help families feel less overwhelmed and more confident that their loved one is receiving the care they deserve. You will help seniors remain safely and comfortably at home. And at the end of the day, you'll know your work genuinely mattered. Leadership Without A Title This role requires leadership every day. You may be helping a family through a difficult situation, supporting a struggling caregiver, solving an operational challenge, or helping a client receive the care they need. You do not need to be the loudest person in the room to be a leader. But you do need to be someone others can trust, depend on, and follow. The best people in this role naturally take ownership. They see problems and move toward them. They support others while helping them succeed. They help create calm when situations become stressful. Leadership is not a position. It is a responsibility. The Kind Of Person Who Thrives Here The people who are most successful in this role are dependable, organized, detail-oriented, compassionate, professional, accountable, and calm under pressure. They care deeply about people, but they also understand the importance of accountability. They support others while still maintaining standards. They can have difficult conversations when necessary. They are comfortable interacting professionally with seniors, families, caregivers, referral partners, and community professionals. They do not create drama. They solve it. They do not wait for someone else to take ownership. They naturally step forward when help is needed. They are humble, hardworking, solution-oriented, and willing to jump in wherever help is needed. Reliability Matters Here We are a small office team, and we depend on one another. When one person doesn't follow through, everyone feels it. Clients feel it. Families feel it. Caregivers feel it. Coworkers feel it. This role requires someone who shows up consistently, follows through on commitments, communicates proactively, and understands that reliability builds trust. Being dependable means more than simply showing up for work. It means arriving on time. It means keeping your word. It means responding when others are counting on you. It means completing responsibilities without needing constant reminders. It means being the kind of teammate others can count on when things get busy, stressful, or unpredictable. Home care is a team effort. Our clients, families, caregivers, and office staff all rely on one another to create a stable care experience. We're looking for someone who takes pride in being that reliable person. In Home care, a Schedule is not Simply a Schedule. Every shift on the calendar represents real people who are counting on us. One scheduling mistake can create a ripple effect throughout the entire organization. A missed schedule change could leave a caregiver driving to the wrong location, arriving late to a client, or missing valuable work hours they were counting on. The same scheduling error could create confusion and stress for a family already feeling overwhelmed and uncertain about their loved one's care. If the schedule is entered incorrectly, it may affect payroll, impacting a caregiver's paycheck and creating unnecessary financial stress. That same error may create billing issues that damage a family's trust and confidence in our organization. In the worst situations, a scheduling mistake can create a coverage gap that leaves a vulnerable senior without the support they expected and depended on. The best candidates understand that details matter because every detail affects a real person. They do not pay attention to details because someone told them to. They pay attention to details because they understand the impact their work has on the lives of others. They naturally think ahead. They double-check their work. They communicate proactively. And they understand that accuracy creates trust. What You'll Be Doing Every responsibility in this role ultimately supports one goal: helping seniors, families, and caregivers experience a more stable and positive care journey. You will help coordinate caregiver schedules, support new client onboarding, communicate with families, assist caregivers in the field, and help maintain high-quality care experiences. You will work closely with seniors, families, caregivers, and office staff to solve problems, strengthen relationships, and help create stable care environments.
Responsibilities include:
Scheduling and staffing coordination Client onboarding and first-shift support Family communication and follow-up Caregiver support and retention Caregiver-client matching Quality assurance visits and observations Service recovery and problem resolution Daily operational support No two days are exactly alike. That is one of the reasons the right people enjoy this role. Compensation & Growth Opportunity Starting compensation is approximately $40,000 per year , including base pay and performance incentives. As Adelmo continues to grow, this position offers increasing earning potential through performance-based incentives tied to company growth, client retention, and relationship development. We are looking for someone who wants to grow with the organization rather than simply fill a position. The right person will have the opportunity to increase both their responsibilities and compensation over time as Adelmo continues to expand. This is not a dead-end administrative position. We are looking for someone who wants to become an important part of the future of Adelmo Family Care. As the company grows, we expect this role to grow as well. The right person will have opportunities to: Take on additional leadership responsibilities Help improve systems and operations Influence the client and caregiver experience Contribute to company growth Increase their earning potential over time We believe that people who help build something valuable should share in its success. Requirements Professional office experience is required. Experience in a medical office, home care agency, assisted living community, skilled nursing facility, healthcare office, or similar professional office environment is strongly preferred.
Required qualifications include:
Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle Minimum one year of experience working in a professional office environment Minimum one year of experience in a supervisory, leadership, coordinator, team lead, or management role Strong verbal and written communication skills Professional appearance and demeanor Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Computer Skills Candidates should be comfortable using: Microsoft Outlook Microsoft Word Microsoft Excel Microsoft PowerPoint Scheduling and workforce management software Client management software Electronic documentation systems AI tools such as ChatGPT or similar platforms to assist with communication, organization, research, and productivity You do not need to know every software platform we use, but you should be comfortable learning new technology, adapting to new systems, and working within multiple software platforms throughout the day. Technology is an important part of how Adelmo operates. Successful candidates are curious, adaptable, and open to learning new tools that improve communication, efficiency, and the client and caregiver experience. Experience Helps. Character Matters More. Experience in home care, healthcare, scheduling, staffing, assisted living, office administration, customer service leadership, care coordination, or operations is helpful. But experience alone is not what we are hiring. We're looking for someone who notices things, solves problems, supports people, communicates well, takes ownership, follows through, stays organized, keeps their word, and genuinely cares about the wellbeing of the people around them. Why People Join Adelmo Many talented people leave jobs because they feel unappreciated, unsupported, disconnected from leadership, or stuck doing work that doesn't feel meaningful. At Adelmo, we believe people do their best work when they feel valued, supported, trusted, and connected to a larger purpose. You'll work alongside a team that believes in accountability, professionalism, communication, teamwork, and helping one another succeed. We work hard for one another. We support one another. And we celebrate wins together. Ready To Apply? Not everyone will be successful in this role. It requires professionalism. It requires reliability. It requires organization. It requires compassion. And it requires someone who genuinely cares about doing things the right way, even when nobody is watching. But for the right person, this can be an incredibly rewarding opportunity. You'll help seniors remain independent. You'll help families feel reassured and supported. You'll support caregivers who are doing meaningful work. You'll be part of a team that values accountability, communication, teamwork, and having each other's backs. Most importantly, you'll know your work matters. We're looking for one exceptional person to join our team. If you're reading this and thinking, "This sounds like me." We encourage you to apply. Application Question (Please Answer In Your Cover Letter) Tell us about a time someone depended on you during a difficult situation. What happened, what actions did you take, and what was the outcome? If you're looking for meaningful work with a team that values reliability, professionalism, compassion, and growth, we'd love to meet you.
