Job Description
Job Summary We are urgently seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to join our team and provide exceptional support to individuals in need of personal care and assistance. In this vital role, you will deliver high-quality care that promotes independence, safety, and well-being for residents across various settings, including assisted living, home health, and community care environments. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people's lives while working in a dynamic and supportive team. All roles are paid positions, emphasizing our commitment to valuing your skills and dedication from day one. Duties Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patient health by checking vital signs, observing changes in condition, and reporting findings accurately Administer medications following care plans and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations for patient privacy Support residents with meal preparation, feeding, and ensuring proper nutrition tailored to individual needs Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being and reduce feelings of isolation Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks and adhering to infection control protocols Utilize specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts or resident lifts to assist with heavy lifting or transfers safely Document care activities meticulously in accordance with facility policies and regulatory standards Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop, implement, and update personalized care plans for each resident Engage in patient observation to detect early signs of health issues or behavioral changes, especially in dementia or Alzheimer's care cases Qualifications Prior experience in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home & community care is highly preferred Certification in First Aid and CPR is required; additional certifications such as HIPAA training are advantageous Demonstrated ability to work with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, dementia, or memory care needs Strong skills in patient monitoring, medication administration, and vital signs measurement Experience with hospice care or working within long-term care environments is a plus Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physically demanding tasks as needed Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and families Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to improve the quality of life for residents Join us today to become a vital part of a caring team dedicated to making a positive impact!
