In-Home Caregiver

Job Overview Home Helpers Home Care of Shepherdsville is a locally owned agency serving Bullitt County and surrounding areas. We're looking for kind, dependable people to join our team as Caregivers . In this role, you'll help folks who need a hand staying safe, comfortable, and independent at home. That might mean working with seniors, people living with memory loss, or individuals with developmental disabilities or autism. If you've got experience in care, great. If not, we provide training. What matters most is that you're compassionate, patient, and truly want to make someone's day better. Duties Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, ensuring their comfort and well-being. Support clients by offering medication reminders, as allowed. Implement memory care strategies for clients experiencing cognitive challenges. Support individuals with developmental disabilities by promoting independence and skill development. Ensure the safety and security of clients by following established protocols and resident rights. Maintain a clean and organized environment for clients, including light housekeeping tasks. Communicate effectively with family members and healthcare professionals regarding client needs and progress.
