In this vital role, you will provide compassionate, personalized care to residents in residential group homes and community-based settings. Your positive attitude and attentive approach will foster a safe, respectful, and engaging environment where residents feel valued and empowered. Responsibilities Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, and grooming Support medication administration following prescribed protocols and document accurately using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems Provide specialized care for residents with ADHD, Bipolar, I & II, implementing behavior management techniques to promote comfort and safety Prepare nutritious meals aligned with dietary needs. Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping duties and adhering to infection control standards Drive residents to appointments, school, or activities when required, ensuring safe transportation practices Collaborate with healthcare professionals, social workers, and family members to develop personalized care plans Support residents' emotional well-being through social engagement, companionship, and respectful communication Requirements Prior experience in long-term care settings such as nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or home & community care is highly preferred Knowledge of ADL assistance techniques Certification in First Aid and CPR is desirable; willingness to obtain if not already certified Ability to accurately monitor vital signs and administer medications following established protocols Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or behavioral challenges is a plus Strong communication skills coupled with a compassionate attitude toward residents' needs Valid driver's license for transportation duties; safe driving record required Join us in providing exceptional care that enriches lives!
