Job Description

Overview Want to join a team of compassionate and dedicated Home Care Professionals who provide high-quality in- home care services and strive to improve the lives of seniors needing daily support? You have found that place here At Homecare of Louisiana. Our ideal candidate can work 12- hour shifts including days, nights and weekends. Also, you must be able to assist clients with all ADLs plus meal preparation, transportation, medication reminders, and light housekeeping while promoting independence, dignity and respect. Your role is essential for ensuring that clients with long-term illnesses and disease processes receive the support and quality care they need and deserve. You must also be dependable, reliable, compassionate and caring. Duties Deliver care to clients in their homes, ensuring comfort, safety, prevention of falls and a clean living area. Conduct thorough inspection of client well- being, monitor and observe changes in health status and report accordingly. Assist with medication reminders and let family members know of any changes in client condition Collaborate with families and caregivers to develop individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each client. Maintain accurate documentation of the clients progress, interventions, and outcomes. Educate clients and families on health management, medication adherence, and lifestyle modifications. Foster a supportive environment for clients with debilitating illnesses and ensuring their dignity and respect. Qualifications Proven experience in homecare or assisted living settings. Strong knowledge of patient care practices related to long-term care and home community care. Excellent observational and communication skills. Proficient in first aid techniques and emergency response protocols. Compassionate demeanor with a commitment to providing high-quality care. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Pay:
$12.00 - $16.00 per hour
