Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate, energetic, and dedicated Caregiver to join our team in providing exceptional support and assistance to individuals in various care settings. In this vital role, you will be responsible for delivering personalized care that promotes independence, safety, and well-being. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patients' health status by observing vital signs, patient behavior, and overall condition; report changes promptly Administer medication as prescribed, ensuring proper documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning to meet individual dietary needs Support patients with mobility using equipment such as Hoyer lifts or transfer belts; perform heavy lifting when necessary Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping duties and adhering to infection control protocols Follow care plans meticulously, documenting observations and activities to ensure continuity of care Qualifications Previous experience in home health, assisted living, nursing home, or group home environments is highly preferred Knowledge of patient observation techniques, medication administration, and vital signs monitoring Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; additional certifications such as Alzheimer's or dementia care are a plus Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, or memory care needs is advantageous Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physically demanding tasks regularly Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure client confidentiality at all times Strong communication skills and compassionate demeanor; ability to work independently and as part of a team Join us if you're passionate about providing heartfelt care that truly makes a difference!
