Job Description
36 hours and 20 hours per week in Bunkie. We are looking for two caregivers to provide ADL services for a 96 year old veteran with frontal lobe injury in his home. He lives with his wife. Homemaker/Home Health Aide duties. Responsibilities Assist client with showering, personal care and dressing Assist with meal preparation Do necessary housekeeping to maintain a clean environment Provide emotional and dementia support Skills Proven experience as personal care attendant Committed to health & safety Able to do housework and cooking Well-organized and reliable Excellent communication and people skills Ability to redirect and negotiate with clients having Alzheimer's and dementia Positive and compassionate attitude Strong ethics Physical stamina CPR certified helpful High school diploma or equivalent A valid driver's license a clean criminal background check
