Available Shift:
(1) 8-Hour Shift Rotating Shift Monday
  • Thursday 8:00 AM
  • 4:30 PM Friday
  • Sunday 8:00 AM
  • 4:30 PM Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Care Worker to join our team.
In this role, you will provide essential support and care to individuals with developmental disabilities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. You will work closely with clients to assist them in daily activities, promote independence, and enhance their quality of life. Your contributions will make a meaningful difference in the lives of those you serve. Responsibilities Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients. Administer medication as prescribed and monitor clients for any changes in health status. Implement individualized care plans tailored to each client's needs. Support clients in engaging in social and recreational activities. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients. Document care provided and report any concerns or changes in client condition to the appropriate personnel. Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive care. Experience Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred. Familiarity with long-term care settings or nursing homes is a plus. Knowledge of dementia care practices is beneficial. CPR certification is highly desirable. Experience in caregiving or direct support roles is an advantage. Skills in cooking nutritious meals for clients are appreciated. Ability to administer medications responsibly and understand medication management protocols.
